Sharon Ann Fossum Obituary (Age 72) Passed away September 13, 2015. She was born June 13, 1943 in Veblen, SD to Ernest and Dorothy Harn. The family moved to Kalispell, MT in 1956 and then to Spokane in 1960 after the death of her father. She married DuWayne Fossum May 9, 1964 and moved to a small farm in Claire City, SD. They had two sons Kenneth in 1965 and Edward in 1969. The moved to St. Paul, MN in 1970 and Sharon began her life-long career as a school clerk with the St. Paul Public School District. Her health began declining in 1984 but she continued to work until health issues forced her to retire in 2006. In 2010 she sold her home in St. Paul and moved back to Spokane to live with her mother. She entered Sacred Heart Med. Ctr. On August 27, 2015 and passed there. Much thanks to her doctors and nurses on the 7th floor and to all the doctors and nurses over the years for their excellent care. She was a member of New Hope Bible Church. Sharon is survived by her mother Dorothy Harn of Spokane; sons Kenneth Fossum of Phoenix, AZ and Edward Fossum of Brookings, SD; sister Betty (Stan) Manikowski of Millhead, SD; grandchildren Melissa, Heather and Allison; aunts Karen Borgen and Sharon Faye Frollek; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband DuWayne in 2007; father; sister Linda Coy and her grandparents. Visitation will be Thursday 10-5PM at Heritage and Funeral Service 10AM Friday, September 18, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
