It is with heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved mother, Sharon Kay Shoop, who left this world on March 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of her children. Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, a source of strength and kindness to all who knew her.

Born on May 26, 1943, in Spokane, WA, Sharon lived a life filled with love and unwavering devotion to her family. With her first husband, Gene, she was blessed with five beautiful children: Gregg, Rick, Sherri, Traci, and Terri. She embraced both the joys and challenges of life with grace, always putting others first and offering comfort with her kind heart and gentle spirit.

One of the greatest hardships she faced was the loss of her beloved son, Gregg, at a young age. Though she carried that sorrow with her, she found strength in the love of her family and friends. Now, they are reunited, embraced in the peace she so deeply deserved.

Sharon is survived by her children, Rick Pouley (Billie Jo), Sherri Sackmann (Marty), Traci Sangster (Brian), and Terri Neilsen (Casey), grandchildren Dennis Starring (Nicole), Tiffany Spencer (Brandon), Colby Starring, Nicole Pouley, Keith Pouley (Emily), Kristen Odom (Clint), Alyssa Sangster, Blayne Sangster, Bryce Haase (Mallarie) , Brady Haase (McKennah), Wyatt Haase (Shyanne), Ashlyn Neilsen, Corbyn Neilsen, and great-grandchildren Brawlee, Briggs, Keonna, Nigel, Ransom, Oakley, Kinsley, and Maverick. She also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Karen, Nancy, Ginny, and Tammy. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregg, her husband, Clarence, her parents, Gustav and Joan, and her former husband, Gene Pouley.

A Graveside Service will be held on April 26, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Lind Cemetery (Lind, WA) with a Celebration of LIfe to follow at Lind Lion's Club.
