Sharon (Smith) Herr Obituary Passed away at her home in Spokane, Washington on January 29, 2012. Sharon was born in South Bend, Indiana on July 16, 1930. She graduated from Riley High School in 1948 and attended Washington University in St. Louis where she joined the Delta Gamma sorority and made many lifelong friends. Sharon married Lloyd Herr on March 3, 1951. Lloyd and Sharon settled in Evergreen, Colorado in 1968 and Sharon remained in Evergreen until she moved to Spokane in 1995. She is survived by her children, Stacy Loudermilk, Brad, Bruce and Brett, their spouses, seven grandchildren, her brother Larry, her sister-in-law Pat and her brother-in-law Larry. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be given to charities that care for the elderly. The family will hold a private memorial service at a family gathering later in the year.
