Sheera Cunningham Obituary Sheera Cunningham was called to the lord on October 12, 2017, she was hit by a drunk driver at 7:30am on Sunday the 8th, her body sustained substantial injuries she from the impact of the car, she fought to survive for 4 days, until it was just too much for her young body to handle. Sheera Cunningham was born on July 24th, 1976 in Hillsboro, OR. She grew up in Forest Grove, OR and in the Chicago area until moving to Spokane in 1989 where she graduated from Mead HS. She was her parents miracle baby, an only child to Milt and Nadine Asher. Her name Sheera means song. She had a beautiful singing voice, and was very creative and inventive. She was a self-employed artist who enjoyed making trash into treasure, finding beauty in everything she touched. She was an advocate for the underdog, especially autistic kids, and the homeless. When Sheera wasnt handling mom duties she would spend her time making jewelry, art, and writing poetry. Sheera had an amazing sense of humor always, and a contagious laugh. Sheera also had a love for animals. Sheera met her husband Damian Cunningham in July of 2004. It was an instant match and a love that could not be broken. Damian became a part of the family instantly, helping with the kids and take care of Sheera. They were married in August of 2006. Even after they fell on hard times and became homeless Damian and Sheera had a bond that could not be broken, their love grew stronger in their hard times. They stayed by each others sides with their dog Annabelle. Sheera is survived by her parents Milt and Nadine, husband Damian Cunningham, and 3 beautiful children, Faith age 18, Patience age 17, and Trinity age 15. Sheera was taken from her family at a very young age. Through this tragic event her family would like to please encourage you not to drink and drive, please think twice before you get behind the wheel, so no other family has to experience a sudden and tragic loss like this family has. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
