Shirley A. Watson Obituary (Age 75) Shirley passed away peacefully November 24, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital surrounded by family who loved her dearly. Shirley was born February 28, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas to Rosalie and Glenn B. Smith. She married Duane Watson for 18 years and is survived by her children, Marshall Watson, James Watson, Loren Watson, Susan Watson laid to rest on September 22, 2001, Laura Ramdhanie, Rosalyn Mckee, Jonathan Watson, Elizabeth Watson, brother Richard Smith, sisters; Mary Carpenter, Hazal Wicker, Patricia Marquardt, one nephew, 5 nieces, 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Shirley worked 25 years as a school bus driver and intendent for Laidlaw/Durham district 81 and as a registered nurses aid for 15 years. Shirley was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Palouse ward and served in various callings. Shirley loved talking and laughing with family, church family and friends. Shirley loved family outings, get-togethers, trips to lakes and parks, community festivals fourth of July at Riverfront Park, Spokane Fair, Lilac Day Parade and Christmas light festivals in Coeur dAlene. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles. Her favorite hobby was gardening. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
