Shirley was primarily a homemaker but also worked outside of the home for Altec for several years. She also was very good at business, over the years selling Tupperware, and won several President Sales Awards for selling Avon. She was a talented seamstress, specializing in embroidery. She took great joy in presenting beautiful handmade gifts to her family and many friends. She always enjoyed her special summer BBQ's, with her family and friends, which will be continued. She attended Spokane Christian Center, where she had many special friends, and loved to worship the Lord, and attend bible study. Shirley was a very special wife, mother and friend, and great counselor, listening without judgment, and always willing to give that second chance and more if that is what it took. Visitation will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, November 7 and 8 from 10am to 5pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
