Shirley M. Marshall Obituary (Age 89) Shirley was born on May 23, 1923 in Wallace, ID to Raleigh and Mabel Clough. She entered in to rest on March 6, 2013 at the age of 89. She moved to Spokane where she attended Irving grade school and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School. She met and married Delbert Marshall on June 18, 1943 in Spokane. She worked for the City of Spokane as a clerk in the Fire Department and Treasurers Office. She loved her garden and sewing. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers. She is survived by his sister Arlean Lauder; and her children Marvin Marshall and wife Melody, Jim Marshall and his wife Jan, Gloria Brodhagen and her husband David; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Shirley was an active member and volunteer at Northwood Presbyterian Church, TOPS and she volunteered at Holy Family Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 2:00PM at Northwood Presbyterian Church, 6721 N. Monroe St., Spokane, WA 99208. Donations may be made to Northwood Presbyterian Church.
