Sidney Al Breckenridge Obituary (Age 49) Sidney lost his battle with cancer in Spokane on March 9th. He was born November 28, 1965 to Sidney and Viola Breckenridge at Lajes Field in Azores, Portugal. He graduated from North Central High School in 1984. After that he joined the Army Reserves where he served for 6 years as an MP. He then went on to graduate from heavy equipment operating school in Oregon, and truck driving school in Spokane and drove a semi-truck until 2006. Sidney lived in Ellensburg with his wife Teresa Emerson of 19 years, and their son Allan. Sid loved to attend Allan?s sporting events, travel, go fishing and camping, play golf, pool and chess, and he loved to listen to 80s rock! Sid is survived by his son Sidney Allan Breckenridge of Ellensburg, brothers Hixon and Matthew Breckenridge of Spokane, sisters Debra (Rick) Chapman of Texas, and Audrey (Bob) Dressel of Spokane, along with 5 nieces and 3 nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Sidney O. and Viola Breckenridge. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way.
