Stanley F. Cienski, Jr. Obituary (Age 79) Passed away September 27 in Spokane Valley, WA. Stanley was born to Stanley Sr. and Helen Cienski June 18th, 1931 in Bayside-Long Island, NY. After 20 years of service in the United States Air Force, he retired as a Tech Sergeant and was a veteran of the Korean War. He then pursued his education, eventually earning a M.S. in Sociology, Interdisciplinary Program in Gerontology from E.W.U. in 1983. Though unable to find work associated with his degree, he had several jobs in sales and security until his official retirement in 1996. He loved Japan and was stationed in Misawa AFB, where he met his future wife Suzu. Stanley is survived by and missed by his ex-wife Suzu Cienski; daughter Elaine Irons (Dustin); five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Ruscillo and Pat Georges, both of New York. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepdaughter Mutsuko Lundquist. A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 PM Wednesday, October 6th at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
