Steve E. Jasso Obituary (Age 74) Steve E. Jasso, of Spokane, Washington died unexpectedly on December 31, 2015. Steve was a beloved father, husband, brother, and grandfather. Born in Visalia, California, he grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon before moving to Portland where he resided for 30 years. Steve worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 30 years and the Oregon DOT for 5 years before he settled into a career as a Safety Inspector for the FRA, a job he mastered and truly enjoyed for 18 years. He was a family man who enjoyed traveling and never wanted to retire. Steve is survived by his dear wife Rosa, who he was married to for 28 years, along with eight beloved children and many brothers and sisters. He dedicated his life to his family and was an honorable and giving man who always put his family first. Steve positively impacted countless lives and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 6th at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Steve's life.
