Steven Edward "Digger" Cunningham Obituary
(Age 59)
Passed away October 28, 2015. He was born December 15, 1955 in Spokane to Edward and Crystal Fae Cunningham. Steve grew up living all over the northwest, too many places to count but lived all his adult life in Spokane. All who knew him knew he was a kind and cheerful person that loved everyone and was always ready to help, generous even when he had little to give. His nickname ?digger? came about because when he was little he was always digging worms so big brother Dan would take him fishing! Steve loved to invent things to make them better and was a wizard at fixing things. He loved his family, all kids and animals. He loved to take kids roller skating and find other fun things to do. An honorary uncle to many, he taught younger ones lots of how-to?s. A jack-of-all trades Steve drove semi trucks, worked for the Milwaukee Railroad, farming, owned Superior Body and Paint, was an expert in floor covering and of course fixed things for everyone. Steve is survived by his sister Sandy (Mark) Anderson; nephews Howard and Scott Cunningham, Justin, Tyler and Mark Anderson and Mason Theis; nieces Shannon Cowee and Melissa Biem; sister-in-law Donna Theis; five great-nephews and nieces; good friends Ed Shaver and Steve Gans; many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Daniel Cunningham and sister Jennifer Anderson. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service 2PM Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Spokane Woman?s Club, 1428 W. 9th Avenue, Spokane.
