Steven J. Bunn Obituary (Age 63) Steven entered into rest on January 1, 2012 at his home in Spokane. He was born April 27, 1948 in Colfax, WA to Bernie and Audrey Bunn. The family moved to Spokane and Steven graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1966. He met his sweetheart, Vonnie, in high school band and together they enjoyed 43 years of marriage. Steven joined the Washington Air National Guard in 1966, retiring in 1992. He began work for Pacific NW Bell in 1968, retiring from B&C Telephone in 2007 due to his illness. Steven was an Eagle Scout, he was on the Police Reserve for Moses Lake, and he served as a volunteer EMT and firefighter for Stevens Co. Dist 1, Station 4. He was preceded in death by his father. Steven is survived by his wife Vonnie; son Jeffrey (Tina), and grandson Tyler of Florida; daughter Stephenie Bunn, Spokane; his mother Audrey; sister Carol Schiefelbein, and two nieces. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 3:30pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane or the Spokane Humane Society.
