Sue F. Ozuna Obituary
(Age 91) Left us to join her Creator on the evening of October 16, 2016. She was born August 31, 1925 in Asheville, NC, the only child of Rex and Eunice (DeBard) Cauble. Her father was a railroad telegrapher for Great Western and was transferred frequently between stations along the line heading West. She attended 12 different schools before graduating from high school. She married Norris Blatt, a serviceman while working at Geiger Field during WWII. They had a child named after her mother, Sue Fannie Blatt. As a military wife she spent three years in Panama and returned to the US prior to and worked as a model in the fabric district. She spent four years in Japan and S. Korea training new sales persons how to sell fragrances and cosmetics for Max Factor. She returned to New York City and worked for Helena Rubinstein in the cosmetic field until she retired in 2000. She also worked in Spokane as a trainer for Max Factor in Spokane. Sues health deteriorated after her daughters death. She was a loving person, eager to start a conversation with anyone. She had a sweet disposition and was well liked by almost everyone. She loved to travel and traveled extensively with her second husband David through China, Europe and North Africa. She was eternally grateful to the Benhams of San Luis Obispo, CA for their help and hospitality after the death of her first husband. She is survived by her husband David Ozuna, a combat Air Force pilot veteran of WWII; cousins Roy Sprinkle in Anchorage, AK and David Fuzzy Sprinkle in Oregon. Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday 10-5pm at Heritage and a Funeral Service 1:00pm Wednesday October 26, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Chapel with interment following at the WA State Veterans Cemetery.
