Susan Kay (Tryon) (Acuff) (Gordon) Kraut Obituary Susan, 67, passed quietly on the morning of January 16, 2017, in Spokane, WA. She was the daughter of Arthur W. and Dorothy I. Tryon, and little sister to Dan, born and raised in Spokane, WA. Her professional life was spent as a Family and Chemical Dependency Counselor in the Greater Spokane Area. She helped many with addiction, family, and relational issues throughout her life. In 1985 she suffered a brain aneurysm and stroke which she miraculously lived through and bravely recovered partially from. She became an example of inspiration to many as her story was shared through the media of the day, TV and newspaper. She is survived by her sons, Brandon Gates, Bret Acuff, her brother Dan (Barb) Tryon and the beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
