Suzanne W. Bollman Obituary (Age 101) Suzanne was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on November 1, 1915 as Eula Mae Rivette. Her parents were Alice and Nicholas Rivette. Suzanne was the youngest of 2 sisters and 3 brothers. At a young age after the brothers and one sister married and left the family and her mother divorced they moved to Beaumont, TX. Most of her schooling was in Beaumont and while in high school became involved in the drama department, which she loved and did very well. Suzanne then attended Lamar College and after graduating was notified that the Beaumont Business and Professional Womens Club was sending her to attend the Pasadena Playhouse in CA for 2 years. It was there her name was changed to Susanne. Suzanne met her first husband Walter Warner as a coworker at the local veterans hospital. He passed away after 15 years of marriage and Suzanne then began her many cruise ship experiences. She loved them, on a Memorial Day dance week trip to Las Vegas during 2004 Suzanne met Merton Bollman at the Gold Coast Resort. They dated and were married on Labor Day 2004. Suzanne then moved to Spokane Valley to live in her new home and new life with snow. Suzanne was admitted to an Alzheimers nursing home during 2016 and stayed until July 17, 2017. She had a severe paralyzing stoke but was peaceful and content with much love. Viewing will be held Friday, July 21, 2017 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM and July 22, 2017 from 8:00AM to 3:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral Service will be held 1:00PM, July 24, 2017 at Opportunity Presbyterian Church, 202 North Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99206. There will be a graveside service at Pines Cemetery directly following the funeral service.
