Ted Edward Davis Obituary (Age 77) Passed away October 5, 2011 in Spokane where he was born August 15, 1934 to Wesley G. and Lonna Luella (McInerney) Davis. Ted was the oldest of four boys and lived with his family on and off in the Spokane area. As a child Ted attended school in Otis Orchards. At the age of seventeen Ted enlisted in the US Navy and served honorably, finishing his Naval career with a tour in Vietnam and retiring in 1970 to Southern California. In the mid '70s he moved his growing family back to the Spokane area and attended college at S.C.C. and attained his AA Degree. Ted worked at various jobs until he found his passion in farm machinery and worked and enjoyed setting up and delivering tractors and farm implements. He spent the last of his working years with Cowles Publishing until he retired in the late '90s. Ted is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marilee F.; sons Ted E. Jr., Daniel W. and Dale A.; brothers Howard E. "Gene" (Sharon), David W. (Donna) and William L. (Evelyn) Kelling; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren Cindy Lee, Cassie Jo, Tamara K., Tanner A., Zackery L. and Donovan J.; four great-grandsons. Ted was preceded in death by his mother L. Luella Howard; son Charles J. and his father Wesley G. Davis. A Military Honors Service will take place 10:30AM Wednesday October 19, 2011 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Road, Medical Lake, WA with inurnment in the Columbarium Wall "B" to follow. A gathering afterwards to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity or organization of choice. "Anchors Away" and "Seabees Can Do!", We love and will miss you Dad!
