Thelma Lucille (Gassow) Alberg Obituary (Age 95) Thelma was born December 17, 1916 in Ruso, ND to Myron and Florence Gassow. She passed away November 30, 2012 in Liberty Lake, WA. She was a resident of the Spokane area since 1929. She was an employee of the Crescent Department Store for 25 years and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Gerrie and Jim VanVoorhis of Hayden, ID, her son and daughter-in-law Dick and Carol Baycroft of Deer Park, WA. She is also survived by four grandsons, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, nieces Tiny Adams, Dolores Wilber and Patty Bell. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Alberg, 1st husband Perry Baycroft, sisters Virginia O'Connor and Sylvia Mackey. Visitation will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, December 6th at Sunset Chapel, inside Fairmount Memorial Park with a Funeral Service to follow at Noon at 5200 W. Wellesley. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane, PO Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.
