Theresa Kurowski Obituary Theresa was born in Stephen, Minnesota, February 28, 1925. She married Raymond Joseph Kurowski October 2, 1947. Prior to her marriage, she worked at the county attorney's office in Warren, MN. She moved to Spokane in 1953, and worked for Skaggs Payless for several years. Theresa is a former member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and a current member of St. Joseph's Parish. She had a passion for crocheting and donated countless afghans to multiple charities. She loved bingo and was lucky at cards. Theresa is preceded in death by her husband Raymond, daughter Diane, and son Robert, and is survived by son Stephen of Portland, granddaughter Christina Miller, grandson Cameron Kurowski, and great grandsons Joshua Miller and Benjamin Kurowski of Spokane. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday April 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Church 2320 N. Cedar. A reception will take place after the service at Wilson Hall. A private family inurnment will follow. Donations may be made in her name to Catholic charities of Spokane. She touched the lives of so many, she will be truly missed.
