Born August 13, 1957, Tammy spent her life in Spokane, attending St. Charles Catholic School, Glover Middle and Shadle Park High Schools. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Al Murcar and her grandparents, Harry and Bess Oliver. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Edward Higgins; her daughter Kelly; son Kyle; mother, Carol Mulvey; brothers Jim Murcar and Joe Murcar(Sandy); sister Jeannie Robinett (Earl); Mother-in-law, Angie Higgins; brother-in-law Bob Higgins (Linda); sisters-in-law Patty Medina (Jim) and Marge Norman; numerous neices and nephews; her life-long best friend Tammy Breithaupt (Mark); and her lovable little dog, Zeek. Tammy and Ed were married in June of 1981 and together they raised their daughter and son in their loving home. Her children gave her much joy and she loved her family with all of her heart. Their lives were filled with birthday parties, Seahawk Sundays, weekends camping with friends or staying at the family cabin at Diamond Lake where Tammy grew up water skiing and swimming. Tammy loved reading every book she could get her hands on, eating mexican food and playing cards. She laughed easily, loudly and often. She loved babies, puppies and a clean house. She was kind to everyone and so good hearted! We will miss her and cherish her memory always. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Driscoll Blvd Baptist Church. Donations may be made to the Tammy Higgins Memorial Fund at U.S. Bank.
