Thomas H. Brauer

Thomas H. Brauer Obituary (Age 69) Thomas was born on December 12, 1939 in Andrews, NC to Hermann and Mary Brauer and passed away on November 26, 2009. Thomas graduated from Andrews High School and went on to receive a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Nebraska, as well as a Masters degree from Gonzaga University. He joined the Air Force in 1959 as a medic and retired in 1986. Thomas went to school to become a Physicians Assistant via the Air Force. On March 14, 1987 he married Virginia Chittim whom he spent his remaining years with. Thomas acquired a huge family who all loved him dearly. He also loved to fish, hunt, go camping, read science fiction and spend time with his grandchildren. He and Virginia recently finished their Master's Hunter Education. They had five children; Sue (Gabe) Burke, Spokane, Deborah (Lawrence) Downs, MN, Butch (Sandy) Davis, Kansas City, KS, Dean (Judy) Davis, Spokane, Gina (Ken) Ary, Tacoma, as well as eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Trinity Baptist Church, 6528 N. Monroe, Spokane, WA 99208.
