Timothy Wayne Rieman Obituary Timothy W. Rieman passed away on September 29th, 2023. Tim (or ?Timmy? as some have known him) was a beloved father, grandfather, husband, friend. He was born on July 14th 1957 to George and Esther Rieman in Monroe, WA but growing up in Gold Bar. Tim was devoted to his career in the Air Force where he served as an Aerospace Maintenance Mechanic, traveling and completing tours throughout his military career. Tim finally ended up settling down in Medical Lake, WA where he served proudly as a Master Sergeant in the 92nd Air Refueling Wing overseeing the Command Post, and finally retiring from the Air Force in 2001 with honors. Over the course of his military career he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, a Commendation Medal, an Air Force Achievement Medal, Outstanding Achievement Medal, Outstanding Unit Award, and an Air Force Good Conduct Award. Tim could never go far from Fairchild, however. He continued to work on base as a civilian with the 4-1-1 Communications Department. After that he moved on to Northern Quest Casino as Security and finally ending his working years at Caterpillar where he was known as ?The Candy Man?. He loved this title, bringing goodies, candy and plenty of laughs to his coworkers daily. He finally retired, taking care of his two dear dogs until the very end, showing what a gentle soul he had. Tim will never be forgotten, will always be remembered in such a way that only shall bring light and warmth to our hearts and souls. We shall remember the many laughs, smiles, and yes- tears for his death has brought great sadness to us all. We will be showing our love, respect, and gratitude for the wonderful memories and wish him well on his next journey on Monday, October 16th. Viewing will be from 9-9:30am at Heritage Funeral Home with a memorial service promptly after, ending at 10:30am. From there, close family and friends will proceed to the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Medical Lake where we will finally lay him to rest with a well-deserved Military Graveside Service from 11am to 11:30am. Fly high Tim, you have now gained your ultimate wings.
