September 19, 1935 - February 12, 2013

Tom E. Croson Obituary (Age 77) Tom Croson passed away on February 12, 2013. He was born on September 19, 1935 in Lewiston, ID to Thomas R. and Thelma P. Croson. He graduated from Lewiston high school and attended the University of Idaho, where he met, and married Susan Emry of Spokane. The family moved to Seattle and settled in Bellevue where Tom was an agent for the Equitable Life Assurance Society. In 1982, Tom bought an all - lines agency - Washington State Agency and worked there until his retirement. Tom was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his boys, friends and fellow anglers. He enjoyed camping, trailering and later cleaning up his index property. Tom found himself outdoors most everyday if he was not attending soccer matches/practices, football practices and swimming meets. Tom also loved fishing with his wife; however she seemed to catch all of the fish. Between removing the fish from her line and baiting her hook, Tom had little time to get his line in the water. Tom is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susan; three sons: Frederic, Douglas, and Sean; daughter-in-law Tracy and six grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 3:00PM at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5720 Perry Street, Spokane, WA. Remembrances may be made to the Alderwood Manor Discretionary Fund.
