Troy Elvin Alton Obituary
(Age 50) Troy was born February 23, 1967 in Spokane, Washington. He entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, July 4, 2017 in Seattle, Washington. Truly an Independence Day for Troy. He attended Ridgeview Elementary, North West Christian School, and graduated from Mead High School in 1985. Troy worked in the family business growing up and upon his graduation from high school, he managed different tire stores. He eventually opened and operated his own business, Troys Tire Pros and Automotive Centers. Troy is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Patty, two amazing sons, Troy Jr. 30 and Travis 25 of Spokane, Washington. His parents Blanche Goddard Miner of Roseburg, Oregon, and Duane Alton of Liberty Lake, WA. His siblings Pam (Terry), Greg (Gayle), Doug (Onari), and Matt (Nancy). Plus, numerous nieces, and nephews. Troy met the love of his life Patty Kazmark while working at Alton's Tire. Troy's words, "I had never seen such a beautiful woman in all my life." They were united in marriage at Hillyard Baptist Church March 15, 1986. Patty has a heart of gold and was with Troy every step of the way during Troy's battle against leukemia, 24/7. Patty's love for Christ gave her the strength to be constantly by his side until his graduation into the heavenly realm and the arms of his Savior. Troy was active in the tire industry serving as a member of Tire Pros Western Region Council and the National Council. Member of the retail association. Troy will be remembered for his contributions to the success of the Spokane dealer group. Troys heart was kind and gentle. His vivacious personality and animated wit was a trademark of his life. Never once during his four month battle with leukemia did he complain. The courage he displayed was a testimony of the strength he received from Christ. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma Alton, and papa and grandma Nelson, and his nephew, Quentin Derocher. A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home July 14 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM and July 15 from 8:00 to 3:30PM. A memorial service will be held 6:00PM July 15 at Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
