Vicky Whitney Obituary Vicky Lee Whitney, 67, passed away peacefully in her home in the early hours of April 23rd. Vicky was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, ?favorite? aunt, cousin, and friend. Her infectious personality brightened your day. She had an unbelievable way of making you laugh, with her quick wit and charm. She was always up for an adventure and open to new experiences. Her kindness was unmatched, having an absolute heart of gold. She was truly a diamond in the rough and will be dearly missed. Vicky was born on October 13th, 1954, in Spokane, WA. the third of three children born to Victor and Jewel Pedey. A lifelong resident of Spokane, Vicky graduated from Roger?s High School, Class of 1973. Vicky worked in a variety of notable professions, but her life focus was her family. She loved spending time with her daughter, Mattie, and her grandchildren as well as her many close friends. In addition to time spent with loved ones, Vicky had an assortment of hobbies that mostly centered around the outdoors. When spring arrived, you could find her in her yard, with her beloved dog, Jackson, digging in her garden, pruning her beautiful flowers, or mowing her lawn. She was a natural green thumb, who could grow anything. She always made her piece of the world a better place. She also had a passion for fishing, hiking, and (although not recently), riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. Vicky is preceded in death by Victor Pedey (Father), Jewel Pedey (Mother), Adrian Pedey (Brother), and Courtney Whitney III (Son). Vicky is survived by Mattie Whitney (Daughter), Aaron Champagne (Son-in-Law), Ashley Whitney (Granddaughter), Saige Whitney-Chambless (Grandson), Delilah Whitney (Granddaughter), Genna Champagne (Granddaughter), Gavin Champagne (Grandson), Belinda Harnett (Bonus Sister), Leslie Morrow-Arhens (Bonus Sister), Dana Pedey (Brother) and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
