Violet Irene Fenske Obituary (Age 89) Violet Irene Fenske passed away December 17, 2017 in Spokane, WA, where she has lived for the past 61 years. She was born August 24, 1928 to Paul and Alma Anderson in Lisbon, ND. Violet married Douglas K. Fenske in September of 1950. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Paul and Joe. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and often sang harmony with her sisters. She was an avid reader and letter writer and corresponded with her childhood friends through the years. Her other interests included gardening (especially growing roses), traveling, and spending time with her family and siblings. Violet is survived by her sons, Paul (Lana) and Joe (Michel); siblings, Luella, Audrey and Randolf; grandchildren, Marisa(Steve), Joey, Brice, and Brenden; great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Christian; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas K. Fenske and her siblings, Arther, Johnny, Harold, Gordon, Mildred, Pearl and Florence. A graveside service will be held 2:00PM December 22, 2017 at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 West Wellesley, Spokane, WA 99205.
