Violet Viola Pauline Mickelson Obituary (Age 100) Violet passed away peacefully on July 20, 2014 in Cheney, WA. She was born on January 26, 1914 to George and Anna Miller in Ritzville, WA. She graduated high school in Ritzville, WA in 1932. Violet and Henry Mickelson were married in Stockton, CA in 1943. She was a lifelong homemaker and was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Cheney, WA. Violet is survived by her sons James (Diana) Mickelson, Mansfield, WA and Ronald (Maggie) Mickelson, Spokane, WA; granddaughter Jami (Cory) Hoeger, Bothel, WA. She is preceded in death by her son Brian in 1976, husband Henry in 1983, her parents, three brothers and one sister. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 3 PM at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Spokane, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 639 Elm St, Cheney, WA 99004.
