Virginia Jane Henderson Obituary (Age 94) Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in Mission Viejo, CA after a brief illness on November 27, 2009 with her son and family by her side. She was born in Spokane, WA on March 18, 1915. Her daughter, Anne Anderson of Spokane, WA preceded her in death in 2001. She is survived by her son, James Henderson of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; granddaughters Julie Spector of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Amy Henderson of Mission Viejo, CA, Kristen Powell of Spokane, WA; grandsons Tim Henderson of Trabuco Canyon, CA, Steve Anderson of Seattle, WA and Jeff Anderson of Sequim, WA. She had six precious great-grandchildren, Brooke and Amanda Harper, Breanna and Tyler Henderson, Annie Powell, and Evan Anderson. Her husband, John Robert Henderson, to whom she was married for 51 years, preceded her in death in 1986. She moved from Spokane to Rancho Santa Margarita, CA in 2002 to be closer to her son and her grandchildren. She lived a long and full life, loved her family and friends dearly and had a true and unshakeable faith in God. She will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
