Virginia Mae Foote Obituary Virginia Mae Foote passed away on May 2, 2013. She was born on January 14, 1927 in McIntosh, South Dakota to Elmer and Beulah Kile. They moved to Sagle, Idaho during November of 1935 where Virginia grew up, the oldest of 8 children, on the farm. She married Ainslee Ray Foote on June 5, 1949 in Otis Orchards, WA. During their marriage they lived in Tillamook, OR, Miami, AZ, Lewiston, ID, Odessa, Airway Heights, and Seattle, WA prior to settling in Spokane in 1994. Virginia frequently ran a daycare out of their home caring for many children over the years as her own. Virginia and Ray had 3 sons, Billy, Donald, and Gary. Gary died shortly after birth. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Benny and Floyd Kile and sisters Alice ?Babe? Wallace, Hazel Ramsay, and Jeanne Geiss. Still living are her brothers, Leonard and Jim Kile. Virginia enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and walking. She continued to walk outside every day until months prior to her death. Most recently she lived at South Hill Senior Living in the Cooper George building where she made many friends and became a staff favorite. Virginia will be missed by her brothers, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at South Hill Senior Living on Friday, May 17th at 10:30 am. 707 West 5th Ave. Spokane, WA 99204 509-838-1797
