Virginia Mae Giesa Obituary (Age 86) Virginia was born November 30, 1930 in Spokane, WA to Lynn and Edith Evans. She passed away December 22, 2016 from dementia after suffering for seven years.In her high school years at North Central, she sang in Miss Pinkam's Doll Shop plays and with a group called The 3-5's. She was active in Operetta, Thespian, Red Feathers, Honor Roll student, Girl's League, and was the secretary for Class Reunions. After high school, she sang in Sweet Adaline's for 25 years. After working at FHA for 30 years and Bob for 22 years, they retired together. They traveled to Europe, the Caribbean and Hawaii. They were snow birds in Mesa, AZ in their RV. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Bob and her parents. She leaves behind her sister, JoAnn Hubbard; nieces Robyn (Russell) Watts and Pamela Daley; nephew, Kelly Hubbard; grandnephew, Kiernan Daley; and grandniece, Sahara Daley. Her family would like to thank Aspen Quality Care and Horizon Hospice for their loving care. There will be a graveside service for the family in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society in Virginia's name.
