On August 22, Wanda Helen Branenburg passed away at the age of 96. Wanda was born in McGregor, Minnesota, the fourth of eleven children born to Wilmer and Marion Greer. Her early years were spent in Kalispell, Montana, graduating from Flathead High School in 1944. After graduation from high school, Wanda moved to Spokane where she provided administrative support to several local labor unions.

In Spokane, Wanda met and married Lloyd Lewis Branenburg in 1946. Their marriage lasted 62 years until Lloyd passed in 2007. Together with business partner Herbert Bambino, they managed General Distributing Company, a local beer and wine distributorship.

Wanda was a talented seamstress who enjoyed quilting and knitting. She was an accomplished artist and excelled at oil painting. She enjoyed gardening, attending the theatre and loved to travel.

Wanda is survived by a daughter, Marsha Jo Reidburn (Jerry), a son, Charles Kevin Branenburg and two grandchildren, Georgette and Jeffrey. We will miss her.

A private graveside service will be conducted at a future date.

The family would like to thank Touchmark on South Hill for their care and kindness.
