Wanda Jane McHugo Obituary Passed away April 18, 2010. She was born February 19, 1923. Wanda graduated from North Central High School and worked at her uncle Roy Hathaway's meat packing plant. From there she went on to be the office manager for Northwest Meat Supply and Boy-C-Meats which were owned by her brother Ray Hathaway. Boy-C-Meats then became Hathaway Meats. She also worked as the office manager for her brother Fred who later owned Hathaway Meats. Wanda married her childhood friend and sweetheart, Jack D. McHugo on February 10, 1942. They had two sons,Douglas J. McHugo and David F. McHugo. After they both retired they spent many years traveling in their R.V. all over the United States. Then in later years they went down to California and Arizona in the winter months. Wanda used to golf on several women's leagues until she had heart surgery in 2001. Wanda is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jack D. McHugo; sons Douglas (Michele and granddaughter Kristen McHugo Reid), David (Sharon and grandson Eric McHugo). She is also survived by one brother, Fred Hathaway (wife June) and Mary Hathaway (Ray's wife). She has many nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her father (Herve) and mother (Jennie) Hathaway and her sisters Edna, Elsie, Ruth and brother Ray. There will be a private interment on Friday.
