Waylon Bradley Preslicka Obituary Waylon Bradley Preslicka, of Loon Lake, WA, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016. He was born February 22, 1977, in Willmar, MN, to Brad and Arlene Preslicka. He attended school in Willmar and graduated in 1995 from Willmar Senior High School. After graduation, Waylon joined the United States Marine Corps and served for four years. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton and Okinawa, Japan. Upon discharge from the Marine Corps in 1999, he moved to Federal Way, WA where he worked for Oriental Gardens. He later moved to Loon Lake, WA, where he made his home and opened his business, Loon Lake Small Engine Repair. On June 26, 2010, Waylon was united in marriage with his soulmate Jodi Preslicka (Nixon). Waylon enjoyed the outdoors. His pastimes included hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, jet-skiing and archery. His priority was his family and friends. He was a skilled mechanic. He was always willing to help others and share his knowledge and know-how with all. Waylon is survived by his wife Jodi Preslicka; daughter Kira Preslicka; son Jakob Dalton; mother Arlene Preslicka; sisters Angela (Jamie) Peters, Lorinda Bergstein; mother-in-law Ruby Arnhold; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father Brad Preslicka and grandparents. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26th, at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA. A potluck Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, February 27th, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Deer Park, WA, VFW Hall, 29 E. 1st Street. Please honor Waylon by wearing camo to the Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family.
