Wayne G. Setzer Obituary (Age 87) Passed away May 16, 2018 in Spokane. He was born January 27, 1931 in Bogota, Texas to James and Anna (Woodle) Setzer. Wayne joined the Army Air Corps after graduating from Bogota High School in 1947. He was stationed in Minneapolis, MN where he met and married Carol. From there he was stationed in Newfoundland, Canada, the great state of Montana, overseas to Puerto Rico and then retiring in Spokane from the Fairchild AFB. After that he opened Spokane Home Healthcare and retired at the age of 85. He loved to play golf and watch all golf tournaments. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. Wayne is survived by: Darcy Setzer-Lonam (daughter) and Matt Lonam (son-in-law) Spokane, WA, Randi Setzer-Fish (daughter) Tucson, AZ, Brett Setzer (son) and Chrystelle Setzer (daughter-in-law) Seattle, WA, Elsie Setzer (daughter-in-law) Spokane, WA; grandchildren: Shane Setzer, Jason Setzer, Chase Setzer, Corey Thompson, Jeremy Thompson, Kevin Lonam, Richard Berland, Meghan Setzer, Wade Setzer and Wyatt Setzer; 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Wayne was preceded in death by Carol Setzer, Bruce Setzer (son) and Michael Fish (son-in-law). Graveside Service 1:30pm Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Road, Medical Lake, WA 99022. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Cancer Care Northwest.
