Wesley Thomas Vert, Jr. Obituary Sr. Mstr Sgt Ret. USAF (Age 67) Passed away September 13, 2017 in Spokane. He was born March 2, 1950 in Portland, OR to Wesley Sr. and Madge Vert. He graduated high school at Polson High School in Polson, MT. He joined the US Air Force and served for over 20 years and retired as a Senior Master Sargent. While in the Air Force he earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees. On June 14, 1986 he married Sadie Vert in Spokane and together they had one son Wesley III. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones and especially loved spending time at Flathead Lake in Polson, MT. He was a passionate sports fan and enjoyed watching football and Gonzaga Basketball. Wesley was a devoted member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes. He is survived by his wife Sadie Vert; only son Wesley Vert III; his parents Wesley Vert Sr. and Madge Vert; brothers Steve and Chris and a sister Tami Avison. Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday 10am-5pm at Heritage and a Rosary at 9:30am Wednesday, September 20th followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside Avenue. Interment will be Thursday in Polson, MT.
