Wilfred Howard "Will" Williams Obituary WILLIAMS, Wilfred Howard "Will" (Age 83) Quietly passed away in his sleep at his home in Spokane Valley the morning of February 23, 2013 after a long struggle with cancer. He was born on September 27, 1929 in LaGrande, OR. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Bonnie; four children; two stepchildren; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Will moved to Spokane in 1948. After a four year stint in the Air Force he began a 38 year career with the railroad, retiring in 1990 as a freight conductor with the Burlington Northern Railroad. He married his first wife, Margie in 1953 and was widowed in 1977 with his four children. Will was remarried in 1981 to Bonnie. He was a longtime member of the U.T.U., the Lions Club and Clowns of America. He brought joy to others year round as a Caboose Rider, All Thumbs the Clown and Santa Claus. His love of trains extended into his personal life through the collecting of railroad themed...anything. His later years were spent with arts and crafts and he also made knit hats and scarfs for family and the less fortunate. Will was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Post Falls, ID. He will be laid to rest at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery on March 1, 2013 after a private graveside service. Please make donations in Will's name to Hospice of Spokane.
