William "Bill" Armstrong Obituary Our Hero fought his last war on April 27, 2014 with all his family by his side. Bill was born September 27, 1941 to William and IdaBell Armstrong in West Point, Georgia. After high school graduation Bill joined the U.S Army. The love of his life was found January 1964. Bill and Sue started their life journey together on July 8, 1964. Bill was sent off to war in Vietnam and proudly served our country there from 1968 -1969. He was honorably discharged in 1976. Bill and Sue moved their family to Spokane, WA in 1977. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Janice, Joyce, and Ben. Survived by the love of his life Susan, his three sons Jimmy (Susan), Billy (Annette) and David (April), his brothers Ricky, Chris, and Robert, his grandchildren Cody, Dawnyia, Gabe, Kymmie, Kenny, and Kyle as well as numerous others he considered grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home.
