William F. Hansen, 92, of Spokane passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024 after a long, well-lived life. Bill was born February 11, 1932 in Spokane, Washington to Peter and Florence Hansen. He attended Irving Elementary and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Jeannie. Bill married Jeannette Gregory in 1951 and the couple went on to raise ten children together.

Early on in their marriage, Bill provided for his growing family by starting a funeral home in Moses Lake, working on the Atlas missile program in Oklahoma and California and then went on to begin his truck driving career in 1963, which he retired from in the late 90's.

Bill enjoyed golfing with his sons and his friends and fishing up in Alaska. His family and friends will always remember him as a strong-willed, outspoken, charitable person who would talk to anybody and everybody.

Bill is survived by his 10 kids, 26 grandkids, and 33 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Jeanette who passed away in 1999, his sister Betty Huff, and his second wife Elvirna Tewes.

Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:00 am on January 31, 2025 at Heritage Funeral Home with a reception to follow.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bill's life.
