William James White Obituary (Age 69) On Sunday May 14, 2014, Bill was united with our Lord. He was born September 9, 1944 in Spokane, WA. Bill attended Lewis and Clark High School until he entered the United States Army on November 19, 1961. He became an Airborne Soldier and served in Okinawa, Japan and was discharged in November 1964. He married Carolyn White on February 1962. Bill and Carol moved back to Spokane in 1966. Bill worked at many different jobs until 1978. He moved to Redmond, Washington to work for his brother George to become a journeyman electrician. He moved back to Spokane and worked for the International Brotherhood of Workers, Local 73 until his retirement in 2010. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman. He would spend many summers camping with the family in the Colville Forest in an old converted bus. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years; brother George; daughters Arlene Robinson and Eva Gunther; sons William J. White Jr. and Patrick R. White, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home.
