William Jeremiah "Bill" Keller Obituary (Age 76) Bill was born August 12, 1935 in Butte, MT to Audrey and Jeremiah Keller. He passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was raised in Walkerville, MT, moving his family to Spokane, WA in 1961 after a tour of duty in the Navy. Bill's working career was in the baking industry which started with Eddies Bakery in Butte, followed by Bogies, Holsum (Silver Loaf), Sweetheart & Snyder's in Spokane before retiring in 1987. Bill was a member of the DAV, VFW & Spokane Aerie 2 Eagles. As an avid bowler he was the secretary for the Eagle's Men's Bowling League for many years and was a member or the Eagles Camper Club. Bill loved camping and fishing especially on the Big Hole River being surrounded by the Montana mountains and streams. Many years were spent camping at the Anaconda Sportsman's Park. He was Park Host from 1992-2008. Many stories were told while sitting around the campfire with his sister Mary, brother Jerry, companion Joyce and many friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary and grandson Zachary. He leaves behind many loved ones; his companion of over 23 years, Joyce Beitey, sons; Bill (Missy) of Butte, Michael (Lorie) of Spokane, Charles (Teresa Marie) of Spokane, daughter Connie Keller (companion Glen) of Spokane and brother Jerry (Lil) of Spokane, plus 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, four nieces and four nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Spokane Area Veterans Home staff where he received the best care and treatment. A Memorial service and reception will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, 1405 S.
