Zachary "Zach" Richard Putnam Obituary
(Age 23)
Our beloved Zach entered this world on July 27, 1986, full of love and life right from the start, and it is with deep sadness we announce his departure from this life as he flew away to heaven on January 4, 2010. He was born in Spokane, WA and graduated from University High School with honors in 2004. He had a charismatic personality, was positive and optimistic, and had a great sense of humor, with a passion for adventure and the desire to see the world. He had a heart that was gentle, kind, caring and sensitive, with a deep sense of empathy and compassion for others. He was actively involved with the youth group at Southside Christian Church. With great anticipation and readiness to gain his independence and freedom he spread his wings and continued his education at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On June 22, 2006 he received his Alumni Associates Degree, with a major in Aeronautical Quality Control and a minor in Nondestructive Testing. For the past few years he worked as a Radiographer Technician in Bellingham, WA. Challenged with the diagnosis of epilepsy in 2003, which took its toll, his wings were clipped, but now they are whole, so he will soar the heavens free from pain and at peace, watching over all of us. Zach is survived by his mother Tammi L. Putnam; father Doyle R. Putnam; sister Serena Rose; brothers Kenny and Keith; grandparents John E. Bacon, Ray and Sonia Hews, and Art and Lola Putnam; aunts and uncles, Robin and Greg Parks, Heidi and Don Zimmerman, Rick Bacon, Larry Vargo, Art and Kim Putnam, and Casey Putnam; cousins, Andy, Ryan, Cathryn, Courtney, Nicki, Erin, Art, Jr., Jennifer, Travis, Tracy, Heavyn, Alexis, and Nathan, and many others; his best friend Rooney; and the love of his life Jenessa. Zach we love you and will miss you more than words can say. P.S. Please say hi to Grandpa Bacon for all of us. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, 11 am, at Heritage Funeral Home, Spokane WA.
