The Infants and Pregnancy Loss Program

We understand that the loss of a child is one of the most difficult experiences that a family can endure. At Heritage Funeral Home, we are here to support you through this difficult time and provide compassionate care to you and your loved ones. We offer discounted funeral and cremation services for families who have experienced the loss of an infant or child.

This discounted charge includes removal, basic professional services of staff, embalming, dressing, casketing and visitation. The discounted service charges don’t include merchandise (casket, urns, keepsakes, slideshows, printed materials, taxes, death certificates or other charges).

Infant And Pregnancy Loss Program

Our Infant and Pregnancy Loss Program is designed to provide support and guidance to families who have experienced the loss of a child. We offer a range of services to help you create a meaningful and personalized experience, including:

  • Discounted Funeral and Cremation services

  • Grief support resources

  • Personalized service and support

Our caring and compassionate staff will work with you to create a service that honors your child's life in a way that is meaningful to you and your family.

Heritage Funeral & Cremation has donated over $100,000 in professional fees toward our infant and baby program.

Infant Loss Quilt Club

Our Infant Loss Quilt Club is a special program that provides families with a comforting quilt made in memory of their child. Each quilt is handmade by volunteers and includes a personalized message of love and support. The quilt is a symbol of comfort and remembrance and serves as a reminder that your child will always hold a special place in your heart. Each child will be wrapped in a handmade quilt and the family will receive a matching quilt square keepsake.

Volunteer Today!

The quilts made by experienced quilters will be gifted to the families of Heritage Funeral Home who have lost an infant.

This will be in coordination with our Heritage Baby Program, which provides free and reduced infant services.

Don't Quilt?

That’s okay; we still need community support and helpers to donate their time at possible public events, share with friends on social media, organize donations, etc.

The Club Is Free To Join; Volunteer Your Time, Skills, Supplies & Love.

Some supplies will be provided monthly free of charge from the Fairmount Memorial Community Partner Program at monthly club meetings depending on the need of Heritage’s Baby Program.

If volunteering to create small infant quilts with keepsake squares for the families who’ve had the devastating loss of a child calls to your heart, please join our group. All Are Welcome.
